Lessons Learned: Turning Mistakes into Growth
Hi all,
I’m a solo indie game developer, and I’ve been working on a variety of projects. To get my feet wet. I wanted to start with something simple and manageable in scope before taking on more ambitious projects. With that in mind, I present to you Incessant.
Incessant has been in development since April 2023, with me as its sole developer. The original concept actually started back in 2016 during the Global Game Jam, but I finally managed to release the project in December 2023 on iOS. Unfortunately, the game encountered a myriad of both technical and design-related issues. After spending time fixing these problems through updates, I realized that to properly address them, I needed to restructure the project and rebuild it from scratch.
Rather than moving on, I felt it was important to address this properly first.I'm thrilled to announce that at long last, I’ve finially managed to get things back on track. Before releasing the final version, I’d like to share a demo version of the game to gather additional feedback from the community. Kindly try it out and let me know your thoughts. I’m looking forward to hearing your feedback.
